What we collect

When you explicitly agree to subscribe, Paper Rain stores your email, signup source, consent version and time, requested guides and interests in the website’s private subscriber database. Your record remains pending unless Kit reports an active subscription during a website request. If you subscribe through an Instagram flow in the future, Paper Rain may also store your Instagram username or contact ID.

What we do not collect here

The website form does not ask for a password, account or phone number. The application does not send email addresses to analytics or include them in its error logs. An IP address may be processed briefly for abuse prevention. Hosting providers have their own operational logs.

Service providers and embedded media

The website and subscriber database are hosted through Cloudflare infrastructure. Kit processes subscriber addresses to send confirmation messages, requested incentives and newsletters. Guides may embed YouTube’s privacy-enhanced player; loading a player connects your browser to YouTube.

Email choices

Every newsletter includes Kit’s unsubscribe link, and Kit suppresses future email after an unsubscribe. On the free plan, Paper Rain’s private database may show the last status observed during signup rather than a real-time copy of later Kit changes. Kit remains authoritative for newsletter eligibility. Guides remain available without subscribing.

Questions and requests

Add a real privacy contact address here before launch. The operator should also document retention, export, deletion, hosting location, and any vendors used for email delivery.
